Chez Caroline restaurant is set in the restored splendour of Rana palace- Babar Mahal Revisited complex in the heart of Kathmandu. This is not only the best place to find truly authentic French Cuisine but it is actually one of the best restaurants in town, serving a variety of continental food. The bistro offers everything from smoked salmon sandwiches and soup to salmon croquettes with mashed potatoes. Chez Caroline is also a garden restaurant and is one of the absolute favorite places to sit on a stormy day, the atmosphere is just wonderful. Chez Caroline’s speciality is its classic French cafe sandwiches. This restaurant works brilliantly as a lunch place, but with the cuisine on the menu, is just as good as a dinner place. With the menu full of choices, you need to accept that indecision is the name of the game, and you will probably be coming back to work your way through the menu. The desert menu is spectacular, so remember to save some room.
